Bidding on behalf of his client Willis Horton, trainer D. Wayne Lukas was extended to $750,000 to acquire hip 202, a colt from the first crop of The Factor (War Front) from the consignment of Top Line Sales LLC. Bred in Kentucky by Frank and John Penn, the Mar. 11 foal is a son of Street Scene (Ire) (Zafonic), making him a half-brother to G1SP Traffic Guard (More Than Ready) and MSP Seanchai (English Channel). It was the second purchase of the two-day sale for the owner of champions Will Take Charge (Unbridled’s Song) and Take Charge Brandi (Giant’s Causeway), who gave $600,000 for a colt by Blame–Be My Prospect Monday evening.
